What if this things turn sour & you are trapped in the ugly closet of cyber bullying?

What to do if someone stalks you on internet?

I decided to write this blog today to help all of those  people who are facing it or have gone through it at some point in life, like me.

Yes, I have been a victim of cyber bullying.

I am quite active on my social networking accounts & as an individual I like to share my unbiased views on everything that I encounter on my social accounts & communities.

One day, I was on an amazing facebook page & I liked the posts so much that I decided to write a positive review for the FB page.

I was completely unaware of the ugly, bizarre consequences I was going to face. I wrote the review in evening around 7 PM & then I got busy in my daily chores.

At night on 10:30 PM, My phone buzzed. I looked at the notifications with sleepy eyes. It was a message from some unknown person.

When I opened the message, It wrenched my soul with a unhealable pain. I was numb....

My head spinned when I saw the message.

# That Unknown Person texted me that Someone is trying to defame me online & I replied him asking who is that person (Biggest Mistake ever done *facepalm*)

Once I started talking to him,He revealed that he himself is that person & he has downloaded my profile picture & he is going to edit my picture with photoshop & going to add it with some pornographic content.

Ultimately, He said that he will spread it on every single social networking website.

I was frantic, I stopped replying to that person & then I immediately called my brother who is a social media manager eventually.

He reported that person on facebook & the account of that person was removed from facebook within 6 hours.
This incident left me deeply wounded at emotional level. Many of the similar incidents happened to me at many instances, but every time I moved on in life. This cyber bullying experience may not be that horrible as many of the victims faced but it gave me an inspiration to SAY NO TO CYBER BULLYING.

  1. Thanks for this article, I have gone through it & I can relate with your situation.
Every cyber bullying experience is horrible be it less intense or more intense. Whenever you fear that your public Image will be shattered in pieces, you feel bad..
That is human nature, This is what we all do..
I agree with your point that we need not to respond to cyber bullying. This will motivate the bullies even more.
